The Eastern Foundations Company was established in 1950 by John C. Kosboski Sr. The Eastern Foundations Company was located in Bridgewater Massachusetts. The majority of the work performed was in the Greater New Bedford Area. John Kosboski served the Greater New Bedford Area for over 20 years. With “Johnny Eastern” at the helm the company prospered and the Eastern Foundations Company became and continued to be, very successful.

In 1972 John C. Kosboski Sr. retired and turned the reins over to his son and son in law. John C. Kosboski Jr. and David F. McGinn relocated the business to East Freetown, Massachusetts. The company was renamed the Southeastern Foundation Company as it was now located in Southeastern Massachusetts. The company continued to prosper building hundreds of Foundations in the Southeastern Massachusetts area.

In 1985 John C. Kosboski Jr. left the company to establish the Eastern Excavating Company on Martha’s Vineyard Island. David F. McGinn and his two Sons, David M. McGinn and John E. McGinn continued the tradition of quality work at competitive prices. The “McGinn’s” have and continue to build quality Foundations at competitive prices.

In 2007 David F. McGinn retired and turned the reins over to his two sons David M. McGinn and John E. McGinn. David and John are committed to providing the same professional service that has sustained the “Family” business since 1950. Since 1950 we have never lost sight of the fact that the Customer is the Foundation of our Business.

The Southeastern Foundation Company constructs poured in place Concrete Footings and Foundations. Residential and Commercial Foundations are constructed professionally and timely. The Southeastern Foundation Company is committed to do Quality Work at Competitive Prices.
